Osteopathic Medicine

Also called Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), this is a form of manual medicine often used to treat musculoskeletal issues such as muscle strains, lower back pain, and migraines. Osteopathy also uses a wide variety of techniques to augment standard treatment for other common medical complaints such as asthma or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Osteopathic Medicine is covered by most insurance plans.
